This is a reimagining of Lady Jane where there are magical Ethians who can transform into animals and back at will and King Edward is black. It promises sword fights but there were none in ep 1 and I’m sorely disappointed. It’s pretentious - amusing itself by random cussing and odd bawdiness (ep 1 opens with Jane applying a salve to her handmaiden’s vagina - no real nudity so far tho). It’s cheesy (not in a good way) and full of itself (the narrator is supposed to be funny but that falls flat every scene). HP facto 1 Slughorn.
Not sure if I’ll watch more. Might fast forward to the fight scenes.

That's disappointing. I had it my queue.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Watched another ep because the beginning content warning said ‘nudity’ but it was man butt. There was a twist but it had become so cloying that I fast forwarded to the first fight scene which was a crappy dagger duel in a shadowy forest. I’m done.

We started this and I thought the first ep was okay but it seems to be going downhill. Christina seems to like it so I'll stick with it though.

Good luck then. Think of me when you get to the man butt.

Just saw that one.
I think the show wouldn't annoy me as much if there were no voice over. That's the worst part.

Agreed. That was the dealbreaker for me.
That and the mediocre choreography.
