The latest from Marvel is so Disney+ it hurts. It’s cute, frantic animation, very inclusive and modern. Eps are less than a half hour. I’ve only watched the premier ep which sets everything up. Not sure when or where this sits in the mcu timelines, but now that we’ve cracked the multiverse and the quantum realm, does anything even matter anymore? No Easter eggs of significance yet. I’ll watch more but not right away…

Why would you watch this?
Are you sure you're not the MCU fanboy and apologist around here?
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

The head editor of Den was raving about this so I figured I’d give it a peep. I’ll likely watch more too. It’s a bit of alright, just a bit, but it has potential. Plus I like inclusive stuff - I feel seen (not really - after a steady diet of Kung Fu & Kaiju flicks whilst growing up, I always felt seen, just in a B movie way). I’m hoping this drops some mcu intel that can’t be seen elsewhere, kinda like Star Wars does with its kid cartoons.

Watched two more eps. The show has style. It’s quick and up on the lingo. Ep2 was great where MG & DD fight an internet troll. It was clever and funny and came with a lesson on how to deal with cyber bullies. Ep 3 was ok as MG’s villains expand.
This is still way outside the mcu but I’m imagining a moment when she has a cameo Easter egg in a live action film.
I’m enjoying this more than I liked Quantumania…
