Sherlock is Edison and Spider-Man is his assistant. Michael Shannon is Westinghouse. This needed more Tesla. It’s absorbed with its own style which is choppy editing and a ticking soundtrack that bugged the crap out of Stacy (bugged me too but only after she pointed it out - then I couldn’t hear anything else). It’s cinematic and was probably quite visual on the big screen - remember those? It was too full of itself to work for us, too caught up in its attempt to be artistic.
No sword fights although there’s a sword hanging on the wall that gets in a lot of shots so I was hopeful. Not DOOM recommended.
