Cary Grant & Irene Dunne. Need I say more?

Well this is not a cute rom com with witty flirty banter. It’s an emotional ride that really got me by the end. Cary is a dreamy struggling publisher - that hits a little too close to home for me. Irene is his practical wife who just wants a baby. Their trials over the years are retold in flashbacks as Irene is about to leave Cary and listens to their collection of vinyl, each which holds triggers memories of their tumultuous love. Cary really acts here, really shows his range (he was nominated for an Oscar for this).

No sword fights. Recommended for DOOM fans of great classics.
