This was cool and weird at the same time.
Muse recorded their last tour, stitched it together and made an epic concert video to be shown one night only in selected theaters.
It was nearly a full house.
People reacted like it was a live show. As a "Rocky Horror" veteran I was totally comfortable with clapping along, cheering and applauding after every song. My one complaint is the editors felt like dwelling on any performer for more than a second was too distracting.
The stage was a rotating "in-the-round" setup with holograms, screens and drones.
It was a hoot. The 'screen' band got a standing ovation.
I wish every band would offer cinematic experiences for shows we cannot attend.
