Yes. She also fails several times in the ng. In one, you can see her slide off the top of the train into the ‘safety net’ which is just a stack of empty cardboard boxes, typical safety nets for Hong Kong action back then. The ng are better than the stunt itself. In the film, it’s just a quick scene.

The Criterion subscription ran out?  Police Story is there.  It's been on my (re)watchlist a very long time now.

It’s just about to run out (or maybe it just did). But it only had PS1 & PS2 not PS3 (or PS4 for that matter but think that’s on Netflix or Amazon - the franchise lost speed by 4).

PS1&2 are great too. I once saw them as a double feature at a film festival at the theater in Embarcadero in SF - that was quite a ride. It was one of my early dates with Stacy, introducing her to the real Jackie beyond his Hollywood mediocrity. I remember how impressed she was at the intermission between the two films.
