One half of the duo Amadou & Mariam, blind Malian musicians. Probably most of you have not heard of them, but I recommend them to TG. Amadou once said that growing up the only records they had were American, so the music is somewhat similar to Ali Farka Toure, with a hint of early 70s rock in his playing. Unfortunately her voice can be a bit grating.
