RIP Jimmy Buffet

Saw him at Shoreline in 94 volunteering for RM. I don’t remember his live sound being much different than his recorded work except that his show was a drunken singalong. So many drunk fan singing together, loudly and poorly.

I wasn’t a fan really but some of his songs are still engraved in my memory and the parrot heads were funny. The tailgate scene was the most impressive thing about his show.

"Come Monday" was also a good one - his first hit, before he went to Florida. He was also in the movie FM, which is a great reminder of the 70s. Apparently not streaming anywhere though. I had to buy the DVD when Christina wanted to see it.
