We all know the gag, right? Nicholas Cage plays Nicholas Cage paid to attend the Mandalorian's birthday party on the Island of Majorca. They bond and decide to write a screenplay to star Nicholas Cage and The Mandalorian. But the CIA is involved and so are some gangsters. It's all very meta and leans hard into it's meta-ness.
The film would probably play better with a thorough lack of knowledge of the plot but it would help to know a lot of Nicholas Cage films because they reference a lot of Nicholas Cage films. But it was kind of fun to watch. There are some laugh out loud moments. There are some tedious bits where it leans too hard into the meta but overall enjoyable.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
