RIP Charles Grodin 5/18/21

Sad to hear. I think my favorite role of his was in Midnight Run. I hated him (in a good way) in Heaven's Gate. And was shocked to learn he was in 11 Harrowhouse as the romantic lead when I caught the film many years later.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Well, fuck. I just inflicted, er — *shared* — “So I married an Axe-Murderer” with Harriett. He has a small cameo in that that is just so...him. My favorite roll of his was as Nicky in The Great Muppet Caper.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I was thinking I really liked him in Lost in America, but then I realized that was Albert Brooks, not Charles Grodin. So now I'll say I really liked him in Rosemary's Baby.

To be fair, Charles Grodin was in Albert Brook's first film Real Life.

See? I knew there was a reason.

Thanks for enabling my actor confusion, Greg.
