A collection of two novels (Joy in the Morning and Right Ho, Jeeves) and a book of short stories (Very Good, Jeeves). I wanted something pleasant and amusing, and this was it. I thought the short stories worked better than the novels, much like Sherlock Holmes in that respect. In fact, I think the pleasure of the stories is much like the pleasure of the Holmes stories: you know the shape of the story going in, and enjoy the details of the specific adventure, and the superior intellect triumphs. Plus lots of humorous English names. Anyway, it's lighthearted fun. I think I'll seek out the other volume of stories, Carry On, Jeeves.
