Sheltering in Place
I am officially abandoning this thread.

I'm doing anything but 'sheltering in place' lately and it feels disingenuous. I started it to keep my own absurd schedule in place, what with juggling multiple freelance jobs, familial responsibilities, and my own self care sorted. Not that I'm in anyway on top of that, but I do keep a lot of notes here. The primordial definition of a journalist is someone who journals daily, and I used to live up to that with little pocket notebooks, until the rise of social media. But I don a mask on social media, obscuring my more DM side, which I only share with y'all here. Ain't you lucky?

Been pondering launching a new journalesque thread here on the D00M4M, maybe titled "What fresh hell is this?"

Kinda, yeah. But it’s worn thin, right?

Moving on…

Can you not just rename this thread? It has become a pleasant "day in the life" thread from people I like.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Wot?

Where’s the irony in that?

And what’s with this authentic sentimentality? Who are you and what have you done with the real PPFY?
