we saw Ep02. Sure are a lot of entrails. The other way to look at this is English and Irish. Cara has a strong Dublin accent.

E5 was brutal. Some major deaths. A whole story arc was extinguished by guillotine and disemboweling. It was like ‘we don’t have the time left with this final season to take these characters where we hoped to go with them so let’s just give them a bloody shucking death. There were entrails a plenty.
A new monster emerges - the Sparas - a winged fleshy beast with a skull-like head and fang filled mouths all over its chest - quite lovecraftian. E6 brings back some toplessness. It’s only one boob but it’s a quality boob. It’s back to the commie compound and the couple there receives their copy of the manifesto (which is green instead of red just to remind us that this is a fantasy). Then back to the row, which is even more Hellman than before. Things are definitely coming to a head. I think there are only 2 more eps left.

E7 brought another major character death replete with entrails. Plus there was a nice riot scene. E8 Not exactly sure how Imogene and Agreus got back to where they are now, but I guess it's cool. They may be skipping steps to get to then end. There's an urgency tone, as if they're trying to squeeze everything in before the series finale. I feel Cara is perfect in the role of the terrorist pix. Despite her natural pixie-face features, she has a fine RBF. Orlando is good too. He's such a pretty face that you just want to punch him in the nose, and that happens a lot to his character here. He gets beat down repeatedly.

E9: the penultimate ep was mostly set up, the final chance to raise the stakes. There was a good fire stunt when the pix terrorists Molotoved a bar full of speciesists. More entrails.
E10: the finale - so many characters die, as predicted. Most of the key characters survive. The pix lesbians prevail over the hetero in that triangle and the faun/human couple also prevails. The commies and capitalists all lose. All in all, not bad in the end, although I confess that I was biased from the start due to that marvelous day spent at sdcc. It had some fair metaphors for fighting oppression and there were some decent effects. Some of the characters were engaging enough. They succeeded in building a fantasy world that was fairly rich. I kinda wish they had another season but I’m not heartbroken that it doesn’t. They took the high road out and gave it all decent closure. Not particularly D00M recommended.

Started watching this. The look is good. The weak point to me is that the fae don't seem to have any kind of powers, just odd anatomy. EG: they could fly but they ran from their pursuers in the forest? If they flew above the thick trees, they would have gotten away. But then the heroine flew away. Huh? That's weak writing.
May have seen two eps. Got to the hint about the Lovecraftian thing. Will probably keep going.
