U2 is about to make all the money. Again.
ic for Spider-Man on broadway which flopped spectacularly? I hope the sphere lives up to the hype. I'd like to check it out sometime. Can't afford the U2 run tho...

I saw that. I want to go to that.
You missed it already. Such are surprise performances.
I will say that I was at the U2 performance in SF in '87 at Justin Herman Plaza. Then I saw the Joshua Tree tour at Oakland right afterwards. That was my first Rock Med show and it changed my life.
When I was a senior in high school, David Schumacher asked me if I wanted to go downtown and see a free show of a band called U2. I said no. Bad decision in retrospect. (It was before their first album came out, and most bands he liked were punk bands so I was skeptical.) They played the Spartan Pub. A friend of Christina's organized the show, and she cooked dinner for them.
I skipped a concert they did in Limerick right after Boy came out. Still kicking myself.
Atomic City. New music. I approve.
I have a serious case of FOMO coming on.
For kicks and giggles, I checked out prices for tickets at the Spere. Mid level ==> $1495.00
