Because U2 says it is. And why wouldn't you believe U2?
First, why are people mad the album is being downloaded for free to their computers? Can't you just delete it and move on? I saw some posts of people on Facebook who didn't want to be caught dead with a U2 album in their playlist, because they thought it was hurting their Rock credibility.

My favorite song so far is 'The Miracle(of Joey Ramone)" It is lodged very deeply in my head. It plays up there while I am falling asleep.
I started to try to access this through iTunes on my AppleTV but it wasn't painfully obvious, so I bailed. I'm not really a Mac person.

We should merge all of the U2 threads together. After all, they're mentioned on the subhead of this forum.

I'm the mod here. I can merge it myself. :-D

There may be more, so this might just be a start. You can't search 'U2' cuz you need 3 characters minimum.

The funny thing was that after the Fleetwood Mac show, we were discussing what bands we'd like to see as a family. I made a heavy bid for U2, but neither S or T are that into them. However, we plan to make a trip to Joshua Tree next year, so it might happen.
U2 was going to perform at KROQ for their annual acoustic Christmas show. But then bikes and accidents and surgery. Edge called in earlier this week to say they weren't playing but that wasn't really a surprise. (No Doubt has stepped in to take their place)

Tempted to see them at the Forum in May. Depends on what body party I have to sell to see them. Being in big crowds make me cranky despite the fact I know U2 will put on a great show. They are also saying how each night will have it's own flavor which is bad since there will be four nights in Los Angeles.
We got nosebleed seats again. It was all we could afford without selling our child. And part of the point of this is to get her to see the legendary rock acts, so what would the point of that be? I've seen U2 plenty of times and S ain't that into them (took a lot of convincing on my part - they better play well that night).

The downside is that this show lands right in between TCEC and CA Roots for me. That'll be hectic. But fun. Very fun.
Yep. I will not be seeing them this go round. But I'm hopeful, or hoping anyway, that they will add more dates if this go round sells out quickly. Should have got the pre-sale through u2.com like last time. Should have paid closer attention to the time.

I can still buy VIP packages for the price of Havoc and Mayhem
....S bought an extra. She intended it to go to a to-be-named friend of T (for some reason, she thinks a teenage girl will have more fun at a rock concert with a teenage girlfriend than with just her old folks). But in congratulating her success at securing the tickets, I mentioned your travails, and she said she'd offer it to you as she would want to support a true fan. So think about it. You'll be in town that weekend for TCEC & KFTC. I think we got the Tuesday show. I can send you the details (exact nosebleed location and price) if you are truly interested.
I'm guessing T would opt for a friend of her own rather than another crotchety old man. And I would stand by her decision.
None of them knew who Fleetwood Mac was. Only one recognized a tune after T played it.

They might know U2 but probably only because of the recent iPhone kerfuffle.

So think about it.
I don't know what it is, but Bono seems to be just a tad more accessible this year. And I like it.

He wrote this lengthy article over on U2.com as a year end wrap-up and I like it

Little book of a big year
She has a final the next day. We're discussing options with the extra tix.
I was expecting a review. Don't tell me you didn't go either.
