First off, I didn't want to go. After the child experiences from Kung Fu Panda, I didn't want to see another kid's film quite this early.
Then when the movie started with mounds of garbage everywhere, I was eerily reminded of the klunker idiocracy.
Fortunately, I did not heed either warning.
Wall E was a great film. It was strange how the plot resembled that of idiocracy, almost giving the same message. And it is a message film. It's amazing that I knew so little of the plot and was pleasantly surprised by the surprising nature of the plot. Who knew Pixar was going to be that subversive?
It's about earth's last robot. It's about what happened to all the people. It's funny and beautiful and has great tie ins to classical musicals.
I liked it and I need to see it again. I'm curious what kids will think about it, since they are deemed by the national media to be beneath it's plot.
Go see it.

So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
