John Smith and Jane Smith are put together by a faceless agency to act as a married couple while they go out on missions. Jane and John take the job because they've been drummed out of their respective agencies. They've got some skills but most of the show is them trying to find out about the background of their new partners. It's pretty slow going with the exception of a few scenes towards the end.
The whole show is a bit of a slog. It doesn't have the high-gloss sexy look and feel of the film. Everything, including the acting, is all very muted.
I'd give up on this but they had a coming this season reel after the credits and some of that stuff looks very exciting. I'm curious if what they teased is real or not.
