Lions for Lambs - Drunk Monk - 12-14-2007
My Dinner with Andre meets Redford politics told in the Crash/Babel style. The dialog is tight and artificial - basically two people preaching at each other - but in the hands of Cruise, Streep and Redford, it's entertaining and provoking. The action storyline was ok - it sort of distracted from the rest of the story. Not a big screen flick at all, in fact, it would have been more enjoyable on PBS. It's really all about the Streep/Cruise scene. What's worse, is the ending is totally ambiguous. I shoulda seen Beowulf instead...
