This was just silly. A werewolf named "Kitty"?
Kitty's a DJ who, in the midst of her transition from bottom-of-the-pack submissive to learning how to challenge and fight for rank/position, decides to shake up her non-werewolf life by changing her show from a music format to a Dr. Laura/Tom Likas show about dealing with the werewolves/vampires in your life.
I was tricked by the recommendation quoting Charlaine Harris on the cover -- she's silly dark fun, not just silly.
