Spinal Tap II: The End Continues - thatguy - 12-30-2025
I watched this last week (I think on Xmas eve). Sad watching after Rob Reiner's passing. Watching feels like a tribute to him. This installment is very nostalgic for the last one, referencing clips from it frequently. There were a few new gags, but mostly, it was building on the scaffolding that was already there. Lots of cameos from celebs: Lars, Questlove, Chad all being asked to fill the role of drummer.
Not a ton of new songs either.
Meh. Not bad, just not as impactful as the first one, and now sad.
