The Woman in Cabin 10 (2025) - Greg - 10-13-2025

Well, this was bad. The book was great but I had hopes for the film, forgetting the adage it's hard to make a good film from a bad book. Plus, once I remembered the twist it got even worse.

Basically, Keira Knightly is a reporter on a cruise with a bunch of billionaires. She's there to give publicity. The billionaires are there to donate money to one of the billionaires who is dying of cancer. Knightly wakes in the middle of the night to see someone fall overboard. She alerts the crew. Everybody searches the water. They do a headcount on the boat and everyone is accounted for. Then Knightly says it was the woman in Room 10. Room 10 doesn't have an occupant. The story goes from there. Knightly is in danger. Bad things happen. Blah Blah blah. Lots of shrill histrionics.

Skip it.
