Greenfinger (2000) - Drunk Monk - 10-10-2025
Based on a true story, Clive Owens plays a prisoner who starts to garden as therapy/reform. Helen Mirren plays a noted gardener who has published gardening books. It’s rather British. I predicted several of the plot ‘twists’ long in advance of their occurrence (so not that twisty really). It’s a very pleasant film, especially if you like English gardens. Owens & Mirren are both grand at what they do. Very pleasant indeed.
Not particularly D00M recommended.
