I found a recording of a Spot 1019 show from '88 - thatguy - 09-05-2007 If you don't know Spot 1019, you've missed a lot. http://gregforestmedia.com/MP3/AA-Shows/MP3-SHOW21A-SPOT-1019.mp3 This link is from a 30 min show recorded at Liberty Lunch in Austin, TX in 1988. It pretty much captures what makes them great. Usually the "rubber chicken" bit was replaced with their oath: "I do hear-by solemnly swear that I will never com-pro-mise my artistic in-te-grity for the sake of fashion or sex or money" ...aw heck, no sirree, not me, gonna taste the feel, put the pedal to the metal, make the mud tires squeal. --EK PS: This is my 1st post...enjoy it dammit! Here's a cover of Spot 1019's "Bucket of Blood" - thatguy - 09-05-2007 Just got this from Jimb Lyons (Spot's bass player): http://commune.gnarit.com/index.php?opt ... ey=5&hit=1 --tg |
