Blade (1998) - Drunk Monk - 09-13-2025
The outlier MCU flick. It holds up surprisingly well. I forgot Traci Lords was in this. I forgot most of what happened in this (it was over a quarter century ago). Snipes is good here just like the governator was good as the terminator - both roles require dead pan expressions mostly - although Snipes does well with a death scene that hurts him. I want the lead vampire to be connected to the Lost Boys.
D00M recommended, especially if you’re an MCU fanboy. This has such a different tone - sanguineous and lots of gratuitous swearing.
