RIP Andy Merg - thatguy - 09-25-2023
This is mostly for KB and maybe Mr. Chow if he peruses the forum. Andy was in our scout troop. I couple years younger then me. His brother Pat was my age and also in our troop, but I was closer to Andy. We both like Yes and other prog rock. When I was learning guitar, I sometimes would bring it on campouts and he always wanted to hear me play the outro to Starship Troopers, or The Clap or something like that...very encouraging.
He was a genuinely nice, mellow person. I have no idea what happened, just that I'm connected with Pat on FB and he posted an in memorium today.
Sad.

It's been so long since I heard that name that it took me a minute to connect. I knew Pat better than Andy but I do remember him. That's harsh.
