Jackie Chan news - Drunk Monk - 05-07-2007

How can you not love this guy? Sure, his latest movies might have sucked, but he's still in the game.

Past it? - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 05-07-2007

We saw the Rush Hour 3 trailer in front of Spiderman 3. It's going to be great! If by great you mean milking the dregs of a once tired idea for more lucre.

Where is Jackie's hand? Did he reach into that guys torso to pull his heart out? Or is he just tickling his spleen?

I bet 5 bucks - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-18-2007

No one in the brotherhood (Except the Queen) knows who the guy is on the left and what he does for a living.

you'd lose that bet... - Drunk Monk - 10-18-2007

...but i'd bet no one here knows what the two of them are promoting except maybe CF since he edited an article that mentioned it. anyone?

1st California Fitness in China? - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-18-2007

I googled. But I stand chastised about Yao. Of course, if you hadn't done the article would you have known? Hmm, mr smarty?

i didn't do the article... - Drunk Monk - 10-19-2007

...it was a dude named august west.

Quote:Jackie is also a sports club owner. He just launched his California Fitness Jackie Chan Sport Club franchise with two gyms, one in Hong Kong and another in Kuala Lumpur, with more planned for Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai – none proposed for California yet. Maybe he should give his old pal Arnie a call.

Not sure I buy that - King Bob - 10-19-2007

"August West" sounds a little suspicious -

... and I love my pretty baby best, more than my wine

Oh right... - Drunk Monk - 10-22-2007

....next thing you know, KB will start commenting on our other freelancers like Jack Shannon Straw and Rose Saint-Stephan (not to mention John Brown, the sheriff from Jamaica).

Please... - Haggis Killer - 10-23-2007

Did you forget I was here? Not know Yao? What, you think my Nor Cal version of Sportscenter shuts out all hoops news?

C'mon....

And you are - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-23-2007

Isn't Nor Cal the placewere they have the lets not keep score leagues so we don't hurt the kids self esteem.

I'd talk football and baseball and hoops, but i fear the blank stare. On that note, Go Red Sox.

- Dr. Ivor Yeti - 10-24-2007

Uh, Greg, it's "socks" not "sox", and we mainly wear hemp sandals with socks optional. What was the question? We're all winners!

Harumph - Haggis Killer - 10-24-2007

In a time when LA is years from having had or having a pro football team and the Warriors went deep into the playoffs, I find your NorCal attempted bash a bit out of buwwets. Don't get me wrong, but if LA can't keep Shaq with the Lakers - and soon, not Kobe either the way it's looking - and continues to bank its pro sport hopes for success on the Clippers and the Kings, all I can really do is send empathy and spirit guides your way in the hopes that you may trancend your embittered lifestyle.

If you'd like, I can make you a personalized shamanistic head pyramid to clear your mind of all things sports related... just to help you get through this difficult time.

Or, I could ninja over and cut your cable TV line and eliminate ESPN from your space/time continuum.

Your choice.

Where's the Stanley Cup? - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-24-2007

Shamanistic Head Pyramid sounds great. Aren't they playing Acoustic Christmas.

The Giants, 49ers, and Cal are still my teams. I root for USC to beat the rest of the country. As for the Clippers, it's like watching a retarded kid do well. If my Celtics were any good, I'd watch them. Damn that Len Bias. My parents once had season tickets to the Warriors. We sat way in the back. We had them the year after they won the Playoffs.

Kobe's just a cry baby and they can't get enough in return to trade him.

On that note, Go Sox, heathens
