SF Symphony @ Davies 4/14/7 - Drunk Monk - 04-17-2007
It was the last of our series of 2nd row seats. Bummer. Those seats were fun, but we can't afford them. Besides, you can only see the violins. Makes for a funny mix, and I miss watching and hearing the whole orchestra.
This was a series on American composers. It was ok. American composers often wind up sounding like soudtrack music to me. Some of it was. There was a new conductor, but he didn't make enough of an impression on me for me to keep his name.
