I was such a fan of the original that I’ve be wanted to watch this for years. I’ve tried. But it’s so gawdawful that I bail and it takes me years until I try again. Tonight I made it through and ya know what? It manages to sustain its gawdawfulness all the way through. In fact, it even gets worse. It’s got to be one of the worst reboots ever.
Two side notes: Matt Lauer’s appearance as himself did not age well. And Leonard Nimoy voiced one of the sleestak.
The original series deserves something better. Not D00M recommended at all.
