Amy Schumer Learns to Cook (Hulu) - King Bob - 04-14-2021
Christina wanted to watch this and I really didn't, and I think I was correct. It was done during lockdown, so it's about half tripod shots and half handheld phone shots, often by the nanny, and they pass the phone around at times. Her husband is a chef and you can learn something, but it's too much about her and not cooking. I thought she came off as not very likeable and her jokes weren't funny. IMO it was almost like she was playing the part of an annoying person who thinks that they are really funny. The best part was a cameo by her cute dog. Not recommended at all.

I've never been an Amy Schumer fan so I can't imagine a world where I would watch this.

I saw a couple of episodes of The Amy Schumer Show, and there were some funny sketches, but since then I have been underwhelmed by her. I don't get her appeal.

Also not a Schumer fan. I think she appeals to slightly overweight snarky white women (NOT a comment on Mrs. KB in any way - she's an exception for sure).
I feel like the pandemic may have reduced production values across the board in the same way that the rise of reality TV did when the writer's strike struck. It lowered the bar and made that into a style and we're all accepting it because it's the end of the world...

I've seen homemade how-to videos on YouTube that looked way better than this.
