It’s sorta Thelma & Louise. Three prostitutes get in a fight with their pimp and kill him then go on the run.
It’s got some of the same style but more graphic than MH. There’s graphic nudity which MH always avoided tastefully. There’s a lot of violence and abuse of women in lingerie. The characters are all fucked up. It’s harsh, thinly guided under a sexy neon veneer.
Not sure how long I’ll hang with it. 8 eps at 24 mins each. Hoping for more of a MH sensibility but I’m not seeing it yet.
No sword fights but there was a wall of swords in the pimp’s office which resulted in a machete charge. Not DOOM recommended yet. But then, y’all weren't into MH.

I tried to get through Ep 3 but it lost me about 15 mins in. One of the pimps was in Sense8 which I really liked but that wasn’t enough to carry it. I think I’m done here.

I gave up on this show but it got solid reviews. Allegedly it gets better.
But still, CW’s Kung Fu gets solid reviews....
