Tea with the Dames (2019) - Drunk Monk - 09-23-2020
Dames Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Joan Plowright & Eileen Adkins have tea and chat. Well, no, they only have a spot of tea. Mostly they drink water with what appears to be mint leaves and lemon. For the climax, they have a little bubbly. It's a charming film. All the actresses have amazing memories after a life devoted to theater and they seem to be geniune friends - the Shakespearean angle is cool and it's interspersed with wonderful vintage footage (Maggie and Judi were such hotties in their youth - but that was long we were born). HP&Downton factor 1 obvs.
No sword fights. DOOM recommended if you're a fan of any of these dames.
