The Assistant (2019) - Drunk Monk - 09-10-2020
A new hire in a movie industry office realizes her boss is weinsteining. She works hard, getting up before dawn for a long commute, does menial soul sucking tasks, and is oppressed. The film goes into great detail on those tasks. We get to see emptying garbage, washing dishes in the break room, clearing paper jams in the copy machine, restocking water bottles, all in painstaking detail. Why the fuck would we want to watch that? It’s like going to work. Boring soul sucking work. And it goes nowhere.
No sword fights. Definitely not DOOM recommended.

That's not Weinsteining, that's just the film Industry. And I think I'll pass on this unless it shows me how to get an assistant.
