Do you ever write yourself notes and then forget what they mean? I'm always doing this. ALWAYS. I mean WTH? I used to think I was being cool by making obscure abbreviations. Now it's usually because I'm in a rush and am jotting down some note for future reference. Sometimes I feel like that dude in Memento, writing myself notes from the Mirror Universe or something. This morning I emailed myself with just the subject 'DON'. Like who the hell is DON? Did I misspell it? Or is that the code to diffuse the bomb or break into the safe at the climax of the movie? IDK. It's been driving me nuts all day.

I really appreciate you guys helping me with this. I emailed this to myself from my gmail to my kfm workmail as is my habit as I drink my breakfast tea. It was this morning at 6:36 AM between two news items I was thinking of feeding to my KFM forum, the one before in on Jillian Michael's forbidden foods (might do that tomorrow) and the one after on China TKD calling for the ban of a Moroccan ref (actually did post that one). I've been thinking it might have been a misspelling at that hour - DAN? DIN? SON? CON? DOJ? DOH? Crap, I dunno. I just dunno.

I'm thinking you meant to type DON'T FORGET as the subject line but instead of hitting the apostrophe key you hit the ENTER key next to it, which sent it.
But something tells me that this theory isn't particularly helpful...

I have a cousin named Don who is in Richmond and a Master friend named Don who has come to TCEC but didn't come last weekend, but there's no reason for me to think about either of them.
I've been pondering Don Diego de la Vega because an accomplice of mine, she has this Mexican-fetish and I have, well you know, a sword-fetish. So we we've been joking about combining our fetishes into Zorro.
I've been tossing myself a lot of notes lately, trying to keep track of recording info from TCEC, juggling next weekend's Cali Roots and the following weekend's Dead&Co, plus trying to hustle the next issue cover story and a few more articles.
DON is really bugging me. WTH was I thinking?

oh gawdammit.
so i've tried to be clearer with my notes. really. i'm trying to be more mindful when taking them.
i have a to-do list on my desk notepad. actually i have several. and there's this note - added later in red - it's even slightly diagonal so it must have been important.
i think it says 'ADREY'. wth man, wth?
i also have a note that says 'DONIVAN' which i've crossed out, meaning i completed whatever it was i needed to do for donivan. maybe that was DON. i don't remember what it was i did for him, but he's one of our freelance contributors, so i'm just gonna let that go as done. DON is done.
ADREY however...

I just noticed on my to-do notepad (same one that says ADREY) a note that says - eyebrow -
It's underlined and enclosed by dashes, just like I posted above, and written in pencil, most likely yesterday.
WTH?
I'm tearing off that sheet and throwing it away.
