Anaheim, March 15-17 - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 03-11-2019
The hunt for Olympic Team spots is hot and heavy right now. Most countries choose their teams based on their world rankings, and those are determined by how well they place in a series of +/- seven World Cup tournaments held in various cities on various continents. Next weekend, Anaheim, CA gets a World Cup. A “Grand Prix”, no less, which means both men’s and women’s events will be held in the same venue and double points earned towards rankings.
This will be a busman’s holiday for me, since I’ll likely be coaching and maybe schmoozing on the equipment side. There is a domestic Junior and Cadet tournament being held simultaneously that our club will send 30 to 40 kids to.
But since I’m paying my own way, I’m a somewhat free agent. This will also be the first time on an airplane since the blood-clot issue got serious. I anticipate no troubles, but...

What's your schedule like on Friday? Sat and Sun my schedule will be messed up by the open house and the need to dog sit.

I get in to the hotel around 3pm. Happy to do late lunch through normal dinner. Given the Traffic Factor, you tell me if it is feasible or even worth spiking your blood-pressure to make the drive down. I figure you all may still be prepping the house and unavailable.

I’m at the Hyatt House at Anaheim Resort, next to the Convention Ctr. I have no opinion on the breakfast places; are they near the convention ctr? Pick which ever you like and I’ll walk or Lyft there.
