Legion - Greg - 02-14-2017

Hey! Somebody made a TV show based on a Marvel Comic. Who would have thought . . .

Actually, the rebuttal to the superhero overload argument is why do they keep making cop shows and lawyer shows?

Anyway, Legion is about an X-Men (never stated) who doesn't know if he has super powers or whether he is crazy. Or possibly both. I vote both. The show is really well done and it's by the same people that brought you Fargo. It is very edgy and stylistic.

But it seemed to meander. While it was very interesting and involving to look at, the story never really got going. The TV show makers wanted to dwell too long on the madness of our hero. They erred on the side of caution with the expository dialogue, meaning there wasn't any.

I'm going to watch more since it does look so cool.

I liked it. The originality of the presentation was refreshing.

Still watching. This show is very messed up. It raises a lot interesting questions. Still no idea of what is going on.

Yup. Intense and interesting. I'll catch up on yesterday's episode today.

I paid $3 to watch the pilot.

No regrets.

This is like David Lynch meets Michael Mann for cinematography and asking Joss Whedon for storyline and casting.

This storyline is way past my comfort zone of 'X-Men' team makeups, but it's doing a good job of examining the psychological makeups of a strike team.
