Alien (1978) - Drunk Monk - 11-29-2016 Even without sound on a tiny aer lingus flight screen, this film is still amazing. No cgi. The only place it feels slightly dated is the monitors which are all old skool vector graphics, but even that works on some level, adding to the claustrophobia of the Nostromo. The design and pacing of the film, that atmosphere, and all the actors, it all still delivers. Without sound, Ridley's acheivement of his vision is even more pronounced. What a masterpiece.
