I still like Woody Allen films. They are much smaller in scope but he almost always gets me with some funny little scene. I watched this on the plane after Stacy said it was funny. She watched it on the plane just before I did. It wasn't funny. Well, maybe if you have a degree in Philosophy like she does, it's funnier. I kept waiting for that funny moment and it never came. Right after I finished watching it, I said to her "that wasn't funny" and she just laughed at me.
For the record, I'm not a fan of Phoenix (although this was a really good part for him) and I'm still deciding if I like Emma Stone or not. Her anime-huge eyes kind of freak me out.
