RIP Carol Doda - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 11-11-2015 Sadly, I did not know she was even still alive, sequestered in some closet in my mind that read 'The Seventies". But she was still with us until today, dying at 78. I never saw her, but I did see her signs as we drove lost through North Beach with my mother. I always wondered about her and the stamp she put on SF. Re: RIP Carol Doda - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 11-12-2015 I used to see her around the neighborhood, a tiny, old woman with long, platinum hair (a wig, I assume) dressed colorfully and wearing trowels and trowels of make-up. Seemed nice enough. I remember her from the ads on TV36 "The perfect 36". She was more in line with Dirty Harry's calibre, though. Amazing to think she was the first topless dancer - Drunk Monk - 11-13-2015 Dr. Ivor Yeti Wrote:I used to see her around the neighborhood, a tiny, old woman with long, platinum hair (a wig, I assume) dressed colorfully and wearing trowels and trowels of make-up.
