Sandman Slim by Richard Kadray - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 12-22-2013

Escapes from Hell, bent on Revenge with a capital "R". Set in LA. Well plotted, good anti-hero stuff.

Just finished a stand alone earlier work called Butcher Bird. A lot of it set in Frisco (bay-BEE!). Very entertaining, snappy dialog. You can see where he is going to go later on with Sandman Slim.

Just finished book 6 (?) "Killing Pretty". I like an author that is not afraid to let his characters mature and grow. Good stuff.

Starting to wish something different things would happen. It all seems to be same characters constantly rehashing the same ground. I'm thinking it needs more story or at least have the characters involved in the story rather than endless exposition. I'm looking at you Hollywood Nazis.

Although, where the underground ghost fights in the warehouse district is intimately familiar. It's where I fly my drone over the Sixth Street Viaduct.
