I Love This City @ Shoreline 5/25/12 - Drunk Monk - 05-29-2012
It was one of those soundsystem gatherings, akin to LovEvolution. Originally slated for AT&T park, it was moved to Shoreline because of low ticket sales. They used the main stage and had two more in the lower parking lot. I caught Dirtyphonics Live, which I liked as they just dropped Skrillex riffs and I like Skrillex. Steve Aoki was very disappointing. Caught a tiny bit of Duck Sauce but not enough to judge.
I was busy. Talked to a lot of blown pupils. My right hand knuckles are covered with road rash because I had to take someone down on asphalt. He was pretty buff, much more so than me at my best (20 years ago), and as fate would have it, he had a KFM lanyard in his pocket.
