This film has been quite the talk of my local radio station. They rave about it all the time. One of the engineers on the station has even talked about getting a human centipede tatoo on his butt. I believe there is a porn version, too.
I still have no desire to see it. I must be old.

You'd think after 3+ decades of hanging with ED, I'd know better. F'ing Human Centipede got under my skin like a bad case of scabies. Kept thinking about wft anyone would think of that, much less film it, much less watch it, much less share it with his buddies. Oh right, it's goddamn ED, the crown king of video-eye-rape.
So you actually watched this ED? How was it?

I know what you're thinking. Dm at Walmart? Well, it's right across the street from dm's gym, so Dm popped by in the vain hopes that he'd find the perfect random last-minute gift. Instead, there in the kid's section, some one had plopped Centipede. At least it wasn't in Blu-Ray...

Human Centipede franchise stars Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey will both play lead roles in Human Centipede Part 3 (Final Sequence). The controversial horror series’ writer-director Tom Six has also cast himself in a supporting part for the concluding entry in the Human Centipede trilogy.
This casting, which has been exclusively revealed to EW by producer Ilona Six, will be big news for fans of the Human Centipede movies. German actor Laser chillingly played a crazed surgeon who stitches three people together in the first film while U.K. actor Harvey portrayed an equally deranged parking lot attendant called Martin who goes one better (actually, around eight better) in the second entry, which was initially banned in Britain.
The first Human Centipede film became instantly infamous upon its release in 2010 and has been parodied by South Park and Funny or Die, amongst others.
According to Ilona Six, principal photography on Human Centipede 3 will take place this May and June in the southern states of the U.S. The producer also confirmed that the American finale of the series is set for a 2013 release and will be “100 percent politically incorrect.”

A retired doctor living out in the woods recruits volunteers for an experiment.
Thank goodness for subtitles. I use them for almost every movie I watch anymore. I was really having trouble following what this doc was doing to these people, but “muffled whimpering” appearing time and again at the bottom of the screen finally gave me a eureka moment.
Ashley C. Williams and Ashlynn Yenni are actually quite good as Lindsey and Jenny respectively. Their verbal banter is very convincing through the first half, after which-- Well....
The truly standout performance is by Dieter Laser, sort of a Christopher Walken/Klaus Kinski hybrid with a bucket of evil tossed in, who plays the doc.
This film tends to stay with you long after you've watched it. After many hours of careful reflection, it occurs to me that it’s a bit disturbed. Still, for anyone wanting to learn how to weld, it makes for a good primer -- and is a whole lot cheaper than Welding: Principles and Applications ($161.45 on Amazon).
