A live-action version of the comic, on par with the Hollywood live-action Flinstones. I watched it in French w/subtitles. Lots of site gags and popculture refrences. I read on IMDB that when this was made it was the most expensive movie of all time. Not sure why. Perhaps it was Gerard Derpardieu as Obelix, on Snoop Dogg singing Mission Cleopatre over the end credits...

I actually liked the live-action Flinstones movie(s). The set design was top notch and the actors seemed to really be enjoying themselves.
