Terminator Salvation - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 12-22-2009 Wow! What a dull film that was full of really exciting action sequences. I kept hearing the producer going "Okay, time for an action sequence" There were just so many things wrong with this story. Why does the resistance not have advanced Technology? Why isn't John Connor leading the resistance already? And why does he talk like Batman? How can Kyle Reese be living in Los Angeles despite the fact it got hit by Nuclear Weapons during Judgement Day? When can we have a Terminator movie without a reference to the term "Judgement Day"? How did we get another Guns and Roses song in the movie. It was a lot of lame followed by a lot of lame. The wierdest part of all is one of the leads, Sam Worthington, is also the star of Avatar. So he is in the Jim Cameron project and he's in the film that still has to cut a big check to Cameron. Re: Terminator Salvation - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 12-22-2009 Yup, saw this one on an IMAX screen. Getting near the end of the movie, one of my friends passes out little airline-booze bottles of German booze to the group and says "this [the booze] will be the highlight of the movie". And it was. Man, whatta disappointment. Real good effects surrounded by utter predictability and bad dialogue. Good example of "suckage". |
