Bad Santa (the Badder Santa Version) - cranefly - 01-03-2009
Billy Bob Thornton is Bad Santa.
I doubt anyone else could have pulled it off so well. I saw this a couple years back in Indiana with my brother.
Then Lady Cranefly expressed an interest in seeing it.
So we watched it a couple nights ago, and it holds up very well on second viewing.
The nonstop foul-mouthing is funny, as is the sacrilege (against Xmas and, well, all things decent). And then the script is just downright clever and funny.
This really is a topnotch movie, showcasing not only Thornton but John Ritter in a minor (his last?) role. Also, the kid is absolutely amazing.
Well worth seeing.
