Did you know that Veuve means widow in French? Basically, the hip-hop champagne of choice could be called the Widow Cliqout. Madam Cliquot went into the wine business after her husband died and she was left with a mountain of bills. She was a big hit hit at a Russian Exhibition during the early 1900's.
