I’m very pleased to report that I’ve recovered my Tiger Hook form. It all came back quickly, with a little help from our Lam Kwoon brother Raymond, who preserved many of his forms on YouTube and shared them. I watch the WLE samples the switch over to Raymond when that clip cuts short. Neither are particularly exemplary (Sifu was off when we filmed that and Ray wasn’t very good with books) but I remember my lessons well enough and can fill the gaps. I conceived of a KFM piece during this process that I might attempt to get out by Shang-Chi time. We’ll see ... I still have that Yosemite staff piece percolating.

My mom and I don't argue much. It only seems that way because her hearing is so bad that I have to yell all the time, until she gets annoyed with me yelling so much. We get along fairly well, all things considered.

I'm about to step into my Wed YMAA telemeet, then immediately after I need to take my mom to her dumb dentist again, and then I have to stay late today because my mom arranged an afternoon meeting with her caretaker providers that I just learned about yesterday (good thing I didn't have anything queued for the afternoon).

This is to give me a break on my heavy workload day, plus to give Yuki some variety and to support our neighborhood gals. They are two young teenagers who live down the block.

528: I’m recording for a panel for Den on Shang-Chi. I rewound my Tiger books with grip tape and plan to use that to decorate my chair. The rest of the day is work because I’ll be away this weekend, visiting some friends in the north bay, including Syl, Legbone’s widow.

529: I’m going to cut out of Kung Fu early today to drive 3 hours north to visit the new pad of some dear friends: LB’s Widow Syl who is down from AK, pad owners my evil twin and Blowkowski (a partner of one of DM’s many split personalities Hookerz - based on that 80s buddy cop show Hookerz & Blow), & Genoni, who I don’t have a good nickname for yet. Haven’t seen any of them in at least two years. Everyone is vaxxed as a requirement of the hosts.
I’m planning to stay the night and come back tomorrow.

We're taking my nephew and his girlfriend to the Winchester Mystery House today. She's from out near Walnut Creek or something and has never been. Unfortunately it's going to be hot and smoky.
