I have five prescriptions for the surgery. Two are for pain. Three are to counteract the effects of the two pain prescriptions

Happy surgery day to me. I'm currently fasting. The Surgery is being done at the Renaissance Center which make it sound all sorts of fancy or a boutique hotel from Hilton.

Just got a note from my surgeon. It is okay I never got my ERAS kit (Thanks, Taylor) The ERAS kit is for people undergoing high risk lengthy surgeries. According to Dr. Yu, I have a low risk short surgery.

Arm in a Sling. Pain blocker lasts through the night. Supposed to take a Percocet before bed to counter the pain blocker wearing off in the night. Pain should start tomorrow. I have an ice machine to cool my shoulder.

It’s not like Jake’s. The constipation alone was enough of a buzz kill to put me off of ever getting hooked. You need your rest.

I'm taking my Perc before I go to bed. Starting Toradol in the morning, supplementing with Perc as needed. I'm no pussy. But for this I'll make an exception.

Nerve blocker still working, butI'm sensing the throbbing starting.
Toreador is to do the heavy lifting but I can take some Perc if it becomes really bad. Saving the Perc for bedtime. Didn't get a lot of sleep probably due to the anesthesia nap.
