RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Drunk Monk - 11-08-2024 QT's stuff is derivative, especially KB. So no, no love there. I forgot about Swashbuckler. Thanks for the reminder. RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 11-08-2024 Rob Roy final fight is *Excellent*. The Frozen Lake and Laundry scenes… $M final fight is much better. Frozen Lake was a bad fight with a gimmick. The Laundry fight was good. Basil’s best fight was in Zorro, but The Court Jester is his second best. And it is funny RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Drunk Monk - 11-09-2024 Fair on the musketeers fights. I’ll reconsider. I need to revisit that Zorro. Thanks! RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 10-13-2025 Dude, much cheaper. RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Drunk Monk - 10-13-2025 But is it a fun, beautiful movement practice unlike anything anyone has experienced before? RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Greg - 10-14-2025 $20 to find out. RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Drunk Monk - 10-14-2025 Do we stuff that in your thong? RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Greg - 10-14-2025 That would be a good start. RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Drunk Monk - 10-14-2025 Beg to differ That would be a bad start A very very bad start Just imagine where that might go… RE: I always expect to see your names in one of these... - Drunk Monk - 02-01-2026 Weapon Up completely depleted Tiger Claw's stock of traditional Jian. Then they bought out the stock at Kung Fu Direct & Beijing Importers (yeah, competitors, but there's actually some dialog between us and our rivals regarding stock issues like this). That's hundreds of swords. They are now directly importing from China themselves and are likely looking into branding their swords. Bottom line: Weapon Up is making serious bank. Implications: DM & Maestro Yeti totally missed the boat when it comes to making a living teaching sword. And it's because neither of us look good in spandex. Nope. No one wants to see that. No one at all. I mean just imagine either of us doing this: Feckin nightmare fuel, amirite? |
