Ha! I finished Section 1, Chapter 4. Except for the quiz, extra credit activities, and instructor's guide tips -- I'll work on those tomorrow. Hoping to be done with Chapter 5 by the end of the week.

I was fantasizing about catching up to TQ with the albatross plucking, but our contractors - the ones building the fort - blew a fuse knocking out power to our bathrooms, our garage door and our computer room with the wireless. No home 'puter for dm.

What's that funky smell? Oh, it's a decomposing albatross.
I knew summer would derail me. Now I'm looking at this albatross and debating how much it sucks. Such is a writer's prerogative. But I'm going to finish this bloody seabird and publish it, just to get the stench out.

...I thought this was in such better shape went I left it for summer 2009. It's in horrid shape.
Nevertheless, I plan to finish it. It's essentially a vanity pub, and better to have a crappy vanity pub out there than nothing at all. It's totally backed up my life - my desk has been unusually sloppy because I've been putting off cleaning to tackle the albatross. I just need to be rid of it, to move on.

Well, I had this weird delusional idea that I'd get some albatross plucking done this week. Mrs Dm was at Esalen, my boss is in AK and I have no immediate deadlines. I didn't even look at it. I was too distracted with...um...Greg's bite! Yea, Greg's bite totally derailed me. I was so worried that the muse wouldn't come. So I frittered away my time on facebook. Stupid facebook time sucking evil web distraction. :oops:
