No day job today (and no piles of repairs to drag me in) so it was sleep late, light brekkies, then off to H’s and a walk through GG Park to Haight Crimes and The Pork Store for lunch. Maybe a beer afterwards.
Then off to Stabby Town by 5:00-ish

Shop day with Hench in attendance. Hopefully, he will bring the new hand truck. Such is the giddy state of excitement at Victory Fencing Gear. After the shop closes, the fencing club has it’s annual Post-Nationals banquet/Welcoming the New Season. The food is outstanding (always a traditional roast pig, plus much more!). Many new faces with the bushel of little stabby kids that have signed up. Always funny/awkward to socialize with parents who have no idea how to treat you and with kids who are pretty comfortable with you, except now I’m dressed nice and have a partner with me.
